Questions, answered
Everything you need to know before September 29. If your question isn’t here, it’s probably answered on the RSVP page.
What is OmFest?
OmFest is a one-day gathering honoring Om Malik — writer, photographer, and founder of GigaOm — bringing together the people, ideas, and stories that shaped his career.
When and where is it?
September 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Full venue details are on the RSVP page — reserve your seat on Luma to get them.
How do I RSVP?
RSVP through Luma at luma.com/om-fest. Space is limited, so reserve early.
What is the program?
The day runs from morning to night. In the morning, we start with conversations about coffee, books, and photographs. From midday, we’ll shift to an unstructured afternoon with short talks to teach us something new. As we head into the evening, we’ll raise a glass to Om on his 60th, before we turn down the lights and open the dance floor.
Will talks be recorded?
Yes. Video from every Flash Talk and Present Future conversation will be published in the archive after the event for the public to view.
What happens after the event?
The OmFest archive opens with Om’s Shelf book recommendations, talk videos, photos of the day, and a digital archive of “All Roads Lead to Om” and Field Notes.
Who should attend?
Anyone who read GigaOm, follows om.co, or was touched by Om’s writing, photography, or generosity toward the people building around him.
